I’ve been finding an interesting development happening in relationships.  I’m finding the power of God being released in them, and it looks very different than what I’ve seen in the past. In the past I would pray for a miracle, a blessing, or some sort of divine intervention into a situation. I would then hope for the best, while secretly wondering if I had prayed with the right humility or faith.  I saw my share of good things happen, but looking back it resembled a casino slot machine.  Slot machines give little payouts along the way to keep someone pumping quarters into it waiting for the big one.

Discovering Father’s life in relationships has been simply transforming, but I’m also discovering a level of prosperity.  Prosperity does not always mean money, but it doesn’t exclude it either.  What I’ve been recently seeing is how when a situation occurs, I’m looking for my relationship to it and pursuing it.  I’ll simply share the situation with someone I’m in relationship with and as we talk about it, Father begins to open up the possibilities.  I’ve seen doors open that were shut or breakthroughs take place when things were seemingly stuck in place.  I’m no longer looking for the fairy dust from heaven to change a situation, I’m looking to find the friend who is lives in Father’s love and watch his life be released on earth as it is in heaven.
