Has anyone noticed that it seems the Holy Spirit isn't moving? My only theory is that it's because Christians are so focused on works. Read Galatians and it becomes clear, or is it just me? It seems Grace isn't found among so called Christians, nor love. Don't people see that church just isn't working? Yet Christians insist on using works based religion day in and day out, even outside the IC. Maybe it's just me and I am looking for more than the trying to find God and trying to do this and that. I want and need true Grace and the Spirit of God. I am tired of hearing, "well God is waiting on us to do this and that...." He alread did it on Calvary! So what's up? Anyone else feel drained and tired of the ho hum of Christianity and want more? I'm not even sure what the more is but it just seems that God is being quiet for now. My husband and I are seeing things for the first time, but what next? I guess it's up to Him. I'm sure someone out there has an answer but it's not about an answer but support, encouragement, and love. These are sorely lacking today.

I think you hit it on the head. Why should the Holy Spirit move where people are ignoring him by doing dead works? And since anything done without a love motivation counts for nothing, he is left out of the scene altogether. On the other hand I'm seeing the Holy Spirit move in a powerful way among those who are done with religious obligation, are being reduced to love and have joyfully walked away from whatever would hold them back from running after Christ with child-like trust and abandonment.

Thanks David. I think I was a little frustrated when I made this post. This has always been my stance but I have had more frustration lately from a professional and spiritual standpoint. Maybe they are one in the same? Maybe it's all spiritual frustration. It sometimes doesn't feel like God is moving but He has to be! I'm not in the IC anymore! Hope more is to come. Just feeling a little blah at times.
